SI's spin off site, with Peter King at the helm, kicked off today. Still digesting it but seems promising. Though I often bristle at King's attitude toward the Pats and especially Belichick, I do always enjoy reading his weekly column. Reading his intro column on the site, their plans are certainly ambitious.
Some Pats angles today:
• Old friend Greg Bedard on how all the off-season distractions will drive Belichick and the Patriots, as they always have. "History tells us that the Patriots will not be distracted by their tumultuous offseason, no matter how the public perceives them. If they don’t succeed, it won’t be because a valuable offensive player is in jail awaiting a murder trial. It will be because the players they have aren’t good enough."
• King teases tomorrow's three questions, with Tom Brady:
I don't expect anything earth-shattering from Brady on Hernandez, just the first step in he and the team moving on. But Brady dos have a knack for saying the right things — more so, probably, than Belichick — so I'm looking forward to his comments.

“We’ve had our chances. Twice. More than twice, actually. I still have plenty of chances to do it. What I’ve learned is it’s really, really hard to win the Super Bowl. I didn’t get that perspective early, winning three out of the first four years I played. What I like about this franchise is we’ve got a shot every year. I love the fact we were in the AFC title game last year, the Super Bowl the year before that, and 14-2 the year before that. Can we win this year? It’ll be determined by our level of commitment, the mental toughness. We’ll find it out before the season. How committed are we?”
—New England quarterback Tom Brady, to me, on the Patriots’ eight-season Super Bowl drought, after winning three in four years.
Read more from Brady, including his first public comments on Aaron Hernandez, Tuesday in our recurring 3Q series, featuring a three-question interview with an NFL person of interest scheduled to post each weekday at 3 p.m. ET.
