Welker didn't drop a pass.
It was actually Chung that grabbed Lynch's ankle and saved a TD there. Lynch was about to step right over Hightower and lunge for the goal line, but Chung spun off his block, reached out, and grabbed his ankle. Amazing, unheralded play.Dont'a Hightower playing with one arm blowing up Russell Okung to trip up Lynch.
Crap! We're now at Brady6 Alert Level 3!
I was just about to write that I didn't think Chung gets enough credit on that play. Hightower was in the right place at the right time but Chung was clutch. It was actually Chung that grabbed Lynch's ankle and saved a TD there. Combination of three things:
1. Health.
2. Every position on both sides of the ball stocked with talent.
3. Luck.
Agreed. That's why you can't say getting Revis and Browner was the reason we won the Super Bowl. We won for a lot of reasons, all mixed together. But thats the way it always is.
You could use "we won the SB" or "we didn't win the SB" to support virtually any argument. Just not convincingly.
