Its laughable when I hear people say that an undefeated regular season means nothing if they don't win the super bowl.
I think that's the popular term, but I don't think the term actually fits. I think what they mean by that is that there is an accomplishment by going 16-0 and losing in the playoffs, but they can't enjoy it.
It's a shame that a team's overall body of work is sometimes ignored for not having won the "big one". The Bills were a good case. They had a very impressive team, but they did lack the one last accomplishment part on a regular basis. While Bills fans do celebrate the acomplishments of those teams it still must hurt not to have the final piece to celebrate. It must take away something, and yet there is still something good left.
