OL (8) - Brown, Strange, Andrews, Onwenu, Reiff, Mafi, J. Andrews, Sow - Anderson goes on the reserve NFI list able to practice and be added to the 53 after 4 games. McDermott and Ferentz are signed to the PS. Would not be surprised at all if one or both are elevated to the game roster week one.

Edge (4) - Judon, White, Wise, Jennings - Trey Flowers goes on the reserve PUP eligible to practice and promoted to the 53 after 4 games.

I can't envision that they won't cut one veteran with a cap savings contract like Guy or Wilson. I think both.

EDIT: I was made aware by @DaBruinz that Cody Davis is on PUP after posting this; the original version had Davis making the 53 before moving to IR. Since he is on PUP, this is unnecessary - he can stay on PUP. I have replaced him with Russey but would not be surprised if it’s Ferentz instead, or if they elect to hold onto a different position instead like mentioned above. I could also see a cut-down day trade for a tackle.

I think that at least one team will claim Zappe as their 3rd QB. Harris should pass waivers, if not that's OK.

2) Ekuale over Wade
I don't want to lose Ekuale
I would have listed Perkins instead of Wade, but I believe that he would need to be waived/injury. I forget the consequences.

I hear you. I was also thinking they may IR Bolden early but theoretically he should be able to come back from a concussion (even a severe one) after a couple months at most. He was trending towards a roster spot pre-injury and they need good CBs, so worth risking one other guy’s roster spot for a day.

I updated my roster to reflect the fact that Davis is actually on PUP (my mistake) so doesn’t need to make the 53. I replaced his spot with Russey but it could go many different ways. I considered holding onto Bledsoe as well, he looked fine this preseason.

I equate it to when BB cut Patrick Pass to light a fire under him. I think he'd do that to Zappe to send a message. If not, so be it.

I know people have liked what Ekuale showed, which is why I have the Pats bringing him back. But I think it's telling that BB was looking to add someone else on the Interior DLine with McCall. That's why I went the direction I did. I'm not sure that another team would claim him.
