OT: Tyreek Hill to Miami

Welp now they are saying Brady trying to force a trade to Miami :eek:
Wow - what source? That would be some Brett Favre shlitz right there lol

I will never understand this type of move from a player. 10 or 20 mln more are really an enough good compensation to move from KC, a perennial contender, to MIA, a half mess team ? really ?

If deebo and Metcalf were here, brady would still be on the pats . That's how big the impact is.
So you just make stuff up?

Metcalf runs deep routes and Wilson threw balloons to him. That’s Wilson’s superpower. Not Brady’s.

And you have no idea if Josh would have gone off-script for Deebo. He didn’t for Jonnu.

I am not making stuff. They would have been more impactful and immediate contributors that Brady might have felt sticking on here to continue winning . Any team which drafts deebo and Metcalf in a single season are continuous contenders .

That's why Harry failure had a butterfly effect . And I am sure many fans can relate to it. Again this is hypothetical but I fancy its chances .

Cousin, There is a path to get a "Deebo" type WR languishing in JAX, for a trade who has a realistic salary. Laviska Shenault

The Jags signed Christian Kirk, Zay Jones and Even Engram to some pretty big dollars.

Yes please. Give me the young guy with real NFL experience over a "definite-maybe" Draft pick.....especially with our crappy Draft record. In two seasons he averages 67% catch percentage (Deebo Samuel had............wait for it........67% catch percentage) . Oh yea.....4.6 yards rushing. The biggie?.....63 1st downs over two years. Our best WR Meyers had 65% catch percentage.

63 receptions in 2021 with a rookie QB.

Pats F.O. is stubborn. They know he is available. A salary of $1,924,017

ultimately i think this is all going to backfire at some point......he got his big money, he's in Miami.......complacency and nightlife are gonna get him, he's already proven to not be a high character, or even mediocre character, kind of guy

Really dumb trade by KC. While the rest of the teams in the AFC West load up, they trade their best player not named Mahomes. Along with GB, they really missed the memo on maximizing what you currently have.

On paper they got a great deal with the haul of draft picks, but now KC has the pressure of getting a player(s) to equal Hill's caliber on offense or defense. Given their recent drafting, I'd say it's slim to none KC does anything relevant with those draft picks.

Aside from Mahomes, the biggest loser in this is Kelce as teams can now focus on doubling him and making their pedestrian WR's beat them. Good luck Patty!

KC needs cap relief in the coming years. They had to make the move.

I've been a big fan. Was all over him in college. Sad to see him wasting in Jacksonville. Plus they have like 7 different slot WR and obviously just overpaid Kirk. I have he might be on the move and I would be happy to see him land here. Harry for Viska and I'd even throw in a 6th.

He's shown a little promise as well. Not like he's been a complete bust and especially not when you look at the team he's on. 58/600/5 and like a 100 yards on the ground. Big fan.

This is what I wrote about him in May 2020.
Haven't seen a wide receiver this physical in quite some time. Just an absolute bull with the ball in his hands. Rocked up at 6'2/220, laviska is like a pickup truck once he gets moving. He delivers hits as opposed to taking them. The physicality in which he plays w is unmatched at his position & I havent seen it in quite some time. In terms of bringing him down, you need multiple bodies & hes very likely to knock the hell out of one of them. Dude will lower his shoulder n just try to bulldoze whats in front of him. Does a great job of bouncing of hits & using that force to gather momentum to keep on going. Viska most def squats. His balance/contact balance is just different. Defenders just bounce, fall & seemingly shake off him. He just bulldogs his way through defenders & Hes only 20 btw.
(TO, Fitz, Landry)

— 346 of his 1,011 yards came after contact and 634 of his receiving yards came after the catch

— Of 103 touches on offense, was tackled by one player just 24 times. It took two players to bring him down 25 times and he was gang tackled by three or more 28 times. He ran out of bounds eight times, there was no tackle seven times and he scored touchdowns on the other 11 touches

Usually hits up stutter (family) for release(s), usually 2 step at the los. Very sharp, solid plant that allows him to explode both off the line & in route after getting his mans hips turned which hes very adapt at. Very comfortable/confident moving his man on corners, blaze out, post/corner. Very fluid mover/strider, very comfortable moving his man. Showed some decent, subtle hand fighting right before the catch & at the line. Strong hands! Very reliable pass catcher, didn't drop many & was a monster in the slot. Catch rate increased big time.
Very strong hands. Catches through contact, ball doesn't move when body absorbs hits. Imagine a refined Shenault in the slot at 6'2/220?

Long way to go in terms of technique but I'm not sure hes "raw" either. Seems very efficient at this point. Forces DB to commit/turn hips & just redirects pretty crisply. Big play waiting to happen. Seemingly every game he played in, every ball he caught meant something. Game winning TD, big rec on 3rd & 4th down (at one point he was 10/11 on 3rd), quick passes/deep passes etc... Shenault made it happen no matter the situation.

Speed & quicks are real. Give him an inch he could be gone. He's vg at making people miss even at his size. He can make you miss, run away from, through you & make a play in the air.

Shenault is something else & hes just barely scratching the surface. The physicality. The jets & quicks. The drive & want-to. The versatility. I just haven't seen a player w this many attributes, qualities & looks like a humble guy off the field.
That said Shenault has to stay healthy, absorb & execute his new offensive scheme which will undoubtedly look to get him more "pro" looks as opposed to some of the manufactured touches he got last year.

I wanna know why pats front office hasn't hired BGC. Biggest mystery.

Mr. Wolf, if you are sweeping these forums anonymously , please put them to good use by borrowing some of the analysis you see here.

lol appreciate it but I'm a dummy that never went to college. Those guys are brilliant compared to me.

I'd remember the name Cam Williams. He's a local kid that went to CM (Catholic Memorial for those that aren't from around here) and played LB at OSU. He should go pretty far with a little luck.

We always have stars in the scouting department. A bunch just got hired in fact. Some very smart people up FB.

Don't sell yourself short. Your rankings are spot on and some of the posts you make regarding players are very insightful... I wont say all because i havent read everything, but the stuff I have? Its good **** BGC.

At the end of the day, its just football. You don't need fancy degrees to know the game, to be able to scout players, to rank them against each other, provide write ups on perceived strengths and weaknesses... In fact I'd wager half of the NFLs front office personnel can't do what you do

I enjoy reading your stuff DW. Always optimistic with good / interesting trade ideas. Thanks.

I'm really big on catch percentage. 67% not too bad. He fights for every yard.

Hell if Mel Kiper Jr can do it, so can you. LOL. You should start a football draft website and see if you can take off. I mean look at PFT, nobody heard of Mike Florio when he started out.

This is as good a year as any to get and groom a young WR. Hill is one of the most Explosive WR's in the league Period! and KC will miss him. That said I think the moves they made so far are not foolish either and stops the bleeding some. Mecole Hardman is young and decent he has game changing speed. They also just signed Juju and Valdez Scantlin. No Hill but they stll have Mahomes and Kelce.

Pringle went to the Bears I think
