This is the beginning of the Browns' bye week. It is also important to note some other things that have been going on:

This would be almost as radical as hiring a fired first time HC and allowing him to handpick his GM...in the first place.

I have a friend who is a huge Browns fan and he said the rumor is that Lerner is talking to Cowher.

Its all rumor but makes sense to Browns fans because Cowher worked for Marty Schottenheimer when he was the Browns HC.

What he did to Browns, is almost criminal. Keeping 80 yr old RB and getting no suitable replacements, getting rid of two best receiving options for virtually nothing, indecisions at QB....I mean guy was lucky Browns were used to the suck. Imagine if that was Pioli when he was with Pats....he would have burned at stakes....I actually feel bad for their fans, even with Mangini present.

This franchise is imploding.............Lerner is already paying the previous GM for 4 more years.Why would Cowher take this mid-season,when he can name his price with many teams after the 2009 season?

Would he pay 10m+ for a top coach/gm and still have to pay Mangini?.................too much dough,imo.

However,if the fans and players are in total revolt over Mangenius,he's got to do something.

My guess is that will be a GM,with TOTAL control over football operations,leaving Mangina with coaching duties only....................and on a very short lease.

Can we get Brad Sealy back,now?..................Is there a girls lacrosse team,that might hire Eric the Stupid,after he gets fired?....................inquiring minds want to know.
