You from Holyoke, TripleOption?
No, but close enough to know it's about an hour from Central mass...

My daughter went to Mount Holyoke College which is not in Holyoke. And on the eastern side of the CT. river. So, I was always confused if I was in Western Mass or Central Mass when I went there.
This has nothing to do with the Holyoke Mall or if they stock SB championship stuff from a couple of years ago.
Wait, maybe the thread starter was looking for SB 42 Patriots Championship stuff and they didn't have any.
Just a thought.

South Hadley, and definitely Western Mass. I don't think you can even claim Central until you hit Holland/Wales/Charlton.
Sturbridge is close to the line too
Charlton = Central
Holland/Wales = western
Grew up in Central Mass (Grafton)
College at UMAss (Western)
Worked Pittsfield ( Western)
Wife is from Palmer (western)
Sturbridge is definitely Central...Holland/Wales are a tossup. Most people from Western Mass have never even heard of Holland or Wales.
To anyone who knows the area and the mall, that was all farm land at one time, and where i played as a kid. Now it looks like a blight on the land. Theres talk of turning the mall into a casino, can't picture that though.
So, I went xmas shopping yesterday at the Holyoke mall (Western MA). I went into the (i forget the name.. who can be bothered with the mall anyways) sports store there. Here is a list of things I saw
1. NOT A SINGLE "SB CHAMP" ITEM FOR SALE (The patriots have won 3 super bowl items. Does it occur to the idiots running the store that super bowl items MIGHT sell?!?!)
2. Multiple "AFC Champ Patriots" items. What is this, 1997?
3. No Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, or KG jerseys on display.
4. An Antione Walker jersey on display (I stood staring at it for a good 15 seconds in disbelief before my girlfriend goes "Man, that's old")
5. A "Red Sox Suck" pencil.
6. Coffee Mugs for about 31 NFL Teams (Jaguars, Colts, Chargers, Steelers, Niners, etc)
7. No Patriot Coffee mugs.
8. Derek Jeter cardboard cutout in the doorway/entrance
Suffice to say; I am disgusted.
Don't forget it's borderline Yankee country out here.

LOL.
I don't think we given the Holyoke Mall nearly enough time to call it a bust yet... It has so much potential.
I take exception to this! We are not CT.
Hey, I'm from that part of Massachusetts. I've been to the Holyoke Mall at Ingleside many times. HOLYOKE AND GREATER SPRINGFIELD IS NOT YANKEE COUNTRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now, Connecticut, that's another story. Hartford may be AC/DC on which team they root for.
Bob G (another case of someone not thinking that Springfield and the 413 area code is actually part of Massachusetts)[/QUOTE
I think Mr. Kraft lost some fans in Hartford a few years ago.
I guess you can get away with threatening to move out of the Boston area as long as your last name isn't Sullivan.

I'd say that the Quabbin Reservoir is the dividing line for western/central Mass. Palmer and Ware are border towns in Western Mass.
