If Miami continues the delay game and refuses to give into KC they might end up losing him - Atlanta is reportedly very interested now in Green as Vick looks to be headed for a suspension if not more and the verdict is definately on the near horizon and I can see Atlanta outbidding Miami if Vick is found guilty.

That may be the only way they save Atlanta's season because there is no one decent in Atlanta to take over the QB position and Green is by far the best available QB out there at this time.

If I was Miami I am thinking 2 ways - Either give up a 5th next year and KC will probably let him go or plan on keeping Culpepper as starting QB cause Lemon is just that...A lemon

Miami has really nothing to gain if they stand pat.

Thats why Miami has gone nowhere since Marino and Shula left - Stupid ownership, lousy decisions

I think neither the Chieds nor the Dolphins are helping themselves the way they are going about the Trent Green thing.

I would get a good laugh if Atlanta makes the deal and gets Green. Then the Pats will be looking at Culpepper starting the season, but Beck becoming the starter when he's not ready about 5 games into the season.

I have to agree with Zippo that there are very poor decisions being made in Miami.

Says who, you?? I love it, a non football guy tells everyone Miami is making bad decisions...classic!!!

Trent Green is 37 years old coming off his worst season ever and a major injury. The only bad decision would be to pay more for him then he's worth.
BTW what did Daunte tell you about his knee when you talked to him last week? Oh wait, Daunte would never talk to you and neither would anyone else in Miami, so whatever information you think you have, you don't. Why don't you try and post with a little more bias next time.

The bottom line here is that Miami will NOT win with Culpepper nor will they with Lemon - Culpepper's pro success came at the hands of another -Randy Moss - No Moss? then Culpepper would probably have been out of the league years ago,His passing stats were a big result of what Moss did on the other side.

Lemon? - Please!! - You have a better chance with the rookie coming in than this loser.

At least Trent has had some great years and his stats are far better than any QB you have had there since Marino - aged or not,Trents not dead - If he was, don't you think KC would have gladly dumped him for a 6th or 7th rounder instead of trying to keep him as second string and paying him salary this year? - I guess you know more than KC does

    Bottom line is .....

    Cleo LEMON
    +
Cul- PEPPER = A great tasty seasoning & TWO LOUSY QUARTERBACKS!

I don't understand Miami's hardon for Green. It's not like they are a Ravens team that is a solid season of QB play away from a championship. I simply don't get it. Yeah, I know, Cam Cameron connection blah blah, but it just makes no sense, why not develop Beck?

Anyway, same with Atlanta. If Vick is done, so is Atlanta's season. Why not just play it out with Harrington and save the draft pick. Do they really think Green will take them that much further than Harrington would?

Maybe he'd win 2-3 more games, and that's generous. I'd rather go 6-10 with Harrington than 9-7 with Green and take the much higher draft pick next April.

After all, the fans and media won't get on them -- the team will be given a free pass for 07 with no Vick and a new coach.

Its called an opinion. I am allowed to have one regardless of what your ignorant arse has to say. Damn, i hate ignorant fans of other teams who show up and just spout off proving exactly what they DON'T know.

Trent Green is still a better QB than Culpepper at this point. Culpepper relied on his LEGS to get him out of jams. In the last 2 seasons, culpepper has thrown 8TDs and 15 INTs. So, please tell me what bias there is?

The problem is you don't know what you're talking about to begin with, so your opinion is....worthless!

Aren't you the utter moron who spent so much time last year trying to convince us that Patriots were on a downward turn and Miami was really going to give us a run for the money for the top spot in the division because of the great Fumblepepper?

    Yeah, I thought so.

And here you are, back at it.

That's the thing about retards like you. You don't learn.

Yeah, you've got all the answers about Miami all right. And everything else. That's why you are always wrong and have less than zero credibility at this, or any other, website.

For a list of bullsh1t predictions, we need look no further than your posts.

This is rediculous, why do you even show up here? DaBruinz was posting his oppinions for other Pats fans to read, hence the name of this website www.patsfans.com. We like his oppinion and respect it and sure we are biased towards the Pats. SO why don't you start respecting other people's opinions and if you don't like them than do keep in mind that this is your teams rival's website.

I hope Green does not end up in Miami.

He may be done, but if not, he is a much more heady player than anybody Miami has had since Marino.

Good job giving up a pair of ones for Ricky Williams, and a pair of twos for Feely and Culpepper.

Yeah, I think it is safe to say Miami is making some pretty poor decisions.

That said, I agree with you that Green is done. I am still hoping you give up a third for him. Hey, if you gave up a deuce apiece for those other two monehead QBS, what's a third or fourth for Green.

I will agree with you, Trent Green was cooked a few years ago.

    Damon Huard is far better.

You are wrong. Damon Huard was good there... they gave up on him for no good reason at all.

The Falcon's are imo alot more inept.

Why the HELL didn't they trade that POS Ron Mexico to the Faiders is beyond me. Before that though... why did they EVER sign him to that deal???? That is the most foolish contract in NFL history. Worse than Ryan Leaf's deal. A lot worse.

Oh, instead they trade their promising Matt Shaub... how clueless.

When he was on the Dolphins, he was their best qb after Marino... Marino even stated this fact. "Damon is clearly the future of this franchise."

He was really pissed off when they got rid of Huard.

Now, Marino is no brain surgeon, but he DOES have a pulse on the qb position. This much I do know.
