The only rookie "cap" that there is in the NFL is how much a team is alloted from their salary cap to sign their drafted rookies. There is no individual limit on what the maximum amount a rookie can earn is.

And the allotment for the top 5 picks is extraordinary... There have been as many busts in the top 5 as there have been stars..

Yes, the only rookie cap is the rookie cap.
 
But what about the other rookie cap?

LOL That's just Deus being Deus. He knows what the poster was talking about and he knows that there is a difference between having a rookie salary cap and having a rookie contract cap.
