I've looked all over and couldn't find a picture of it. Does anyone have this?

Mods please move this if it doesn't belong.

Gunnails, why do you have Μολὼν λάβε as your saying? Are you an expert on the battle of Thermopylae?

    LOL, no.

I saw some one else use it in there signature on another board, had to google it to find out what it said/meant, any rate I thought it was somewhat clever.

Did you google it or can you read that language.

It is the famous phrase that King Leonidas of Sparta uttered to Xerxes on the eve of the battle of Thermopylae when he was offered the option of surrendering and laying down his weapons, and having his life as well as those of his men spared in exchange. Μολὼν λάβε is "Molōn labe" essentially meaning "Come and take them!" (e.g. "Come and get my weapons!"). It was a very laconic statement in response to Xerxes's long speech about the futility of holding out. Xerxes's fatal mistake in the battle of Thermopylae was his misunderstanding of the geography of Thermopylae pass which effectively neutralized large scale combat.

That is why I asked you because it doesn't really make sense as a signature in a sports forum. What "thing" could a big bully take from you, or from the Jets? Not a player, because that phrase ends with an object noun.

Samuel has a tattoo on his left arm that says “Get Rich To This.” It was widely reported during Samuel's post-2006 season contract situation that the tattoo said “Get Paid”. Samuel's tattoo is the name of a Goodie Mob song that Samuel liked in college.

    thats from wiki.

Unless someone else has a "Get Rich To This" tattoo it's Asante's.

Thank you for that, I love that story.

I misunderstood, I took it as come and get some.

I did find it on a gun forum, and it all makes perfect sense now.

I'd be shocked if Harrison had anything other than guns tattooed on his body.

Funny thing is I thought that was a gun. Guess I didn't look close enough before going for the joke. When I first glanced at the ink it looked like a hand wrapped around the grip of a gun with it pointed straight out.

Very intersting read, thank you for taking the time to write it out.

Out of curiosity, how much of the Spartan tale is based on reality and how much is myth?

I believe BB got on a high hill and yelled it in 2004 in response to threats of raiding his coaching staff.

In hindsight, might have been a mistake.

[Could have been helping the coach at Wesleyan when he should have been in Greek class.]
