The real great offense they faced they got blown out 34-14 against the Chargers.

Cake walk regular season
Could you post the defensive rankings of the Patriot opponents as well as their end of season win/loss record ?
Ravens were 12-4 which included 9 games against teams with winning records , 8 games against teams that made the playoffs.
How'd y'all get to 13-3 ?

How the Pats get to 13-3 and to the AFCCG AT HOME?
By having the best record in the AFC and beating 8 teams who would have had winning records had they not played the Patriots.
A better question: How in the world did YOUR team NOT get the highest seed while going 8-0 at home???????

I don't think the title of this thread is on point. It's a reflection of the lack of quality offenses faced and how it makes their defense look better than it actually is, it's not meant to simply suggest they had an easy schedule.
If the patriots don't screw up their execution they'll put more points on the board than any other team that has faced the Ravens this year (35+). Flacco won't put up 30+ on this defense, only a complete breakdown of the Patriots offensive line would do them in. Unfortunately that has been the main reason why the Pats have had playoff troubles recently (though it has been a more widespread breakdown the last 2 seasons).
Is it possible that the quality of the teams that the Patriots have played makes their offense look better than it actually is ?
I would love to see the stats. Could someone oblige ?
You're crazy if you think the Ravens are going to allow the Patriots to score 35 points on them in a playoff game.
What are you hoping for ? 3+ turnovers in the redzone ?
The Pats opponents averaged an 18.75 ranking of defense (points allowed). That's barely below average.
The Raven's (who average almost 9 less points per game than the pats, which influences opponents defensive rankings) averaged facing 13.25.
So the Pats have faced defenses that average giving up 22.4 Points, while scoring 32.1 PPG. That's +9.7 PPG. That would put the Pats at about 26 points against the Ravens defense, all things equal. But all things aren't equal. The pats offensive output is reflected in the defense rankings faced combined with the fact that the Ravens have faced easier offenses. Add in the fact that this offense is peaking and has been improving week to week since Nov 13th, I think 35+/- is a solid line.
Of course the game has to be played and it will all come down to execution, but if we execute, I don't see any reason why we shouldn't be able to put up 35. The Patriots have been the best offensive team in the NFL the last 5 years after all and I'd argue they have been the most consistent, game to game, this year...

hmm.. maybe we should ask the Giants or Pittsburgh.. oh right.. your offense is peaking.. and our defense is stagnant..
My advise is to hope the Patriots score 20+ points.. if the Ravens execute that is..
Problem is the Patriots might score 30 and still lose, with the defense they have..
(Boldin, Evans, Smith, Pitta, ****son, Ray Rice, Leach) is no joke against a bottom half defense.
Its tough sledding.
Y'all better hope you can get to Flacco with a 4 man rush
