I've heard Tampa isn't interested anymore, who knows.

I think Philly is content with DRC and Asante, but 3 probowl CBs would be crazy.

That or back to the Raiders. NOT everyone buys into the Ryan hype.

Hopefully the Niners feel the heat. They can definitely offer more money and the next CB on the market is Cromartie. Meh.

I'm not trying to nitpick you, but there's a reason tampa has a ton of money to spend.

How much is Houston under the cap?

    They need two corners

EOM - What's that reason? What I know is that their best CB in Talib is a suspension waiting to happen. Beyond that they have Ronde Barber and a bunch of scrubs... Adding Nnamdi would be a huge benefit for them and would help them spend some of the money they HAVE to spend. It would go a long way to solidifying their secondary, as well, as they have two good safeties in Tanard Jackson and Sean Jones, plus they added Ahmad Black.

Don't write off Tampa Bay. Unlike the last couple of years, when ownership was more than willing to be able to spend as little as possible, the rules in this new CBA make it imperative that they do spend their available funds. Signing Nnamdi Asomugha would put a sizable dent in that very large amount of cap space that they need to use between now and the end of the season.

because they don't like spending money.

not saying it can't happen -- just sayin'.

The Bucs are WAY under the cap and need to spend quite a bit. Word is they are $59 million under the cap. Not good news for the Jets. I mean the Bucs could actually afford to take the hit for all the guaranteed money this year alone.

Very logical, but we haven't heard a peep from the media noting them as contenders. And that team could use the help with a tough division. With the exception of Carolina, those teams are all competitive.

Hey, Niners got Akers I see.

Welcome to the world of the Cap Floor. It's 89% or about 108 million CASH that has to be spent.. They don't have a choice.

Wouldn't it be great if the Raiders could sign Cromartie before Asomugha ran to the Bucs? Hehe.

They've got to spend it somehow. Might as well start at the top of the FA list. If Aso takes long enough, other teams can pick off some other desirable FA's and thereby deprive a certain divisional rival of talent.

Perhaps I'll be able to sleep tonight.

    TB has got this.

Aquib Talib was a very talented headcase that is still facing criminal charges. Do not forget this ppl.

Losing Talib makes a huge void that needs to be filled at DB. Aaomu, I firmly believe will be in Tampa. Let us hope Asomu does not take a discount and go to NY
