I mean there are better solutions than raising the uprights. The uprights interfere with ticket holders' viewing.

Well God forbid we should interfere with the sightlines of maybe 20 people who would be inconvenienced by having the goalposts extend higher.

I love arguing about whether a FG was good or not like that Ravens-Pats game in 2012 and having an entire game decided on something that many think was a bad call! Getting screwed is fun!
