So I just realized, Bill Polian basically admitted that he knew he could've had a first-round level QB as a backup, for only a late-round pick, and didn't take him. I think that's called being a bad GM.
It was almost like luck was listening to Gruden saying it is his WRs fault he was doing bad and he thought "oh yeah? I'll show you! I will commit a TO all by myself!" Way to shove it in Gruden's face luck!
