Mike Reiss heads to ESPNBoston.com

It's going to be hard to keep badgering ESPN is they continue to hire people we like.
Last week, our friend Adam Schefter arrived in Bristol. This week, word has emerged that our pal Mike Reiss of the Boston Globe, one of the best beat writers in the business (and now I've just pissed off Dan Leberfeld . . . again) will join ESPN's new Boston-only portal, ESPNBoston.com.
According to Michael David Smith of FanHouse, Reiss and Peter Gammons and Michael Smith and Bill Simmons will contribute content to the ESPN-owned site devoted solely to Boston sports.
It's the continuation of ESPN's evil plan to dominate the world, with a series of smaller sites that focus on one specific city, and thus drive the local newspapers further into submission, Wal-Mart style.
Previously, there were rumors that Reiss was under consideration for the job at NFL Network vacated earlier this year by Schefter.
So congrats to Mike Reiss, and best wishes for continued success, even if such success will come as a member of the Mother Ship.
Lucky for us gaspar is quite good also.
