Happy Holidays to you and your family.
At my home this is the best year ever to be a Patriot Fan,
so I feel like I have a lot to be grateful for.

So all the rest of our games 2,3 or 4 will be against playoff calibur teams.
As such any of them could beat us and end this dream of an undefeated season.
Not meaning to be over confident but the 2 NFC teams don't scare me.
Sure they deserve respect and they are quality teams,
but I see us beating them 9 out of 10 times.
At this point in the season you have to love BB's one game at a time attitude.
I probably shouldn't say this but right now I am more worried about free agency and next year than I am winning the superbowl.
I am sorry but I expect us to win!!
You should too.

Next year terrifies me what will happen with Moss, Samuel and Stallworth?
Wilson, Gay and Gaffney?
Who will retire?
Will we get younger at LB?
I expect Moss, wilson, gay and gaffney stays, but expect Samuel and Stallworth to go.
Probably T Brown and Seau retire...
Hope to fill holes during the draft...
We will need fortune in FA and draft to stay elite next year.
Your Thoughts.

I'm going to agree with you on the NFC teams. I feel pretty good about our chances in those games.

I know forum guys get pissed off if we "look ahead", since some people like to echo everything BB says, but let's just be realistic and say excluding a huge swing of variance we're going to win 2/4, and maybe even 3 of our next 4 pretty decisively.

The team I fear most is the Colts. I'm not sure we have enough of an answer to contain them to where we'd be comfortable at any point during the game. They'll presumably be with the services of Marvin Harrison again and thus will have their full complement of wide receivers + Dallas Clark spread all over the place. Not to mention Joseph Addai and the problems he'll pose. That's going to be a 7 pt or less game and I believe we do have the edge but may be sweating every minute of it..

Merry Christmas to you and yours also!
