Cushing was already a big kid coming out of HS. He went through Strong Man training (think "Worlds Strongest Man" on ESPN), and came in as an athletic LB prospect. He then gained some weight and switched over to DE/34 OLB, where he actually had what I think was his best season. In 2007 he had a few injury problems, and his totals went down, but he actually had another solid season.
.
I didn't know this. These kind of muscle heads actually scare me. The two best examples are David Boston and Adam Archuletta. You get to a point where the human body just starts breaking down.
Anyway, I'm putting in an early order for two binkies in 2009:
Wisconsin TE Travis Beckum
Missouri S William Moore
I also liked what I saw from USF DE George Selvie, and I'm interested to see if he could play OLB for Belichick.
RB is going to be DEEEEEEEEEP again, with guys like Beanie Wells, CJ Spiller, James Davis, PJ Hill, Marlon Lucky, Ian Johnson, Adrian Foster, Javon Ringer, Brandon Ore, Tyrell Sutton, Andre Brown, Mike Davis, Kory Sheets, Brad Lester, and Jevorski Lane potentially in the draft.
And it should be time to add some O-linemen (Boone, Oher, Smith?)
