Recently had knee surgery. The Jags had tendered him and then withdrew it. I'm not sure the Jets even CAN sign him, since he's a FA.

Ingram was tendered an RFA offer and had it withdrawn today, making him an unrestricted free agent. He can re-sign with the Jags if both sides so desired.

I've been saying that I want to see Henderson in a Pats uniform for the last couple of days now. A Warren, Wilfork, Henderson D-Line would be EXTREMELY hard to run inside on. Henderson is under contract until 2011 (one that the Jags have paid the most of) and would pretty much solve our needs at DE.

But any trade would mean the Patriots could only keep him at his current salary on his current contract.

10 years of experience each in playing 2 gap fronts. It is my understanding that it is easier to go from DT to DE than DE to DT.

I'm a big fan of Henderson. Hopefully this spurs on Shaun Ellis getting cut in the Jets' neverending quest to sign every name they've ever heard of, though. I'd love Shaun on our life.
