Joey Porter: Why He Hates the Patriots

Hoyer can run up the score - with Tate and Nunn. No need to risk Brady. Normally they just calling running plays but the Pats could call deep passes and the like if they wanted to score more..

He craves attention, he is a big mouth, and sore loser. Any focus on him gives him exactly what he wants. Who really cares what he has to say...he is one of 53.

next...

I love how the media has to go over this with Porter before every Patriots/Dolphins game. We already went over this last year too, when Porter stated "The boy cold, man" referring to BB.
The media yearns for what they consider to be their 'good old days' of 2007, when they got unprecedented ratings and a record number of web hits by continuously talking about spygate; in terms of attracting viewers, listeners and readers, everything else paled in comparison. Then you have Porter, who is just about the only person in football that still wants to talk about it. So as a result the media can't help themselves with a bit of cheap sensationalism by repeating what Porter has to say whenever he faces the Pats.

Fans of other teams will continue to gravitate to these articles as long as they still cling to the belief that their favorite team was denied a championship because of the videotaping. Porter will still be given time in front of cameras and microphones so reporters can give those fans what they want to hear. It's all about ratings and its affect on ad revenue; nothing more, nothing less.

Very good point. And it seems that every time he opens his big mouth and mentions spygate, we shut him up on the field. Keep talking Porter, we will keep winning.

As the old saying goes, "consider the source."

The Pats beat the Steelers in two AFCG's during Porter's time there.

He has one ring, but the Steelers won another without him. He can count. Pats 3, Steelers 2, Joey 1.

The Pats and Steelers are in the running for rings number 4 and 3 this year. Porter's in the running to be first to his post-season Golf Course.

He was released by Pittsburgh to make cap room after he had an off year and then ended up at what has been for the last two decades the NFL's Siberia-by-the-Sea (last trip to the AFCG in 1992 season, last trip to the SB 1984 season, last SB win 1972 season--sure, they eked out the division on a tie breaker over the Pats last year, but they were one and done in the Wild Card Round).

He's jealous and he's not a classy guy by reputation (unusual that he lasted so long in one of the classier organizations in the league, but he is great on the field).

Hit the "Ignore" button.
