Cowher doesn't come to Belichick's defense the way Jimmy Johnson and some other coaches have, but even after the interviewer asks him a leading question Cowher doesn't take the bait. Listen in particular from about the 2:20-4:00 minute mark. Cowher mentions that 'there's been a lot of talk in Pittsburgh about the AFCCG' and then points out that in that game the Pats had only one offensive touchdown, and won the game on a punt return and blocked FG for touchdowns - i.e., taping of defensive signals had no effect in that game. He also talks about how everyone is very aware of the need to protect their signals by have more than one guy giving signals, etc.

Not a ringing endorsement of Belichick and the Pats by any means, but on the other hand he pretty much says videotaping had nothing to do with the Steelers losing that day.

Sadly this is the attitude that 99% of the fans of opposing teams have when they think about "spygate". Totally ignorant of what it really was and what real advantages we gained from it. Love seeing the Patriots* or Cheatriots. Idiots will be idiots.

I do too, but that's once again the quickest way to get Brady's knee blown out. Ryan has a lot of pride for a fat man and Bart Scott is, well, Bart Scott. If we begin to run up the score, they are going to take a shot.
