Baltimore defeats Oakland 21-13, clinching a playoff spot and a wildcard game at Foxborough against the Patriots.

Regardless of any other outcomes, this is our opponent.

How is that? If the Bengals win, the Pats are the 4th seed. If the Bengals lose, they are the 3rd seed. Unless the Jets are guaranteed the 5th seed if they win, I don't know if the opponent is set in stone because if the Jets lose the Ravens are definitely the 5th seed.

Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, McGhee, Rice, Mason, Flacco. Should be a good one. Donks laying an egg against the Chefs - not that it matters.

Jets are the 5 if they win.

Baltimore is the 5 if Cincy wins.

    Either way Ravens play NE.

Stop the run and we win. I watched them today and was not impressed. Flacco is not playing well.

Go Jets - then let it be Ravens (in foxboro)>Chargers(in SD)>Jets(in Foxboro)> Anybody(in Miami)

Re: Wildcard Playoff Round - Patriots vs Ravens

Well, I thought that was the only scenario that would make it the case, just didn't think the Jets would have a higher seeding if they won.

Re: Wildcard Playoff Round - Patriots vs Ravens

So if you're Cincy do you knock the Jets out tonight or rest your starters and knock them out next week?

I like this matchup. It's when we have to depend on our secondary that I worry.

Agree. Need Wilfork and Warren fully healthly for the game. Need to get pressure on Flacco to make him make mistakes.

The good thing is that BB has been preparing for the Ravens for the entire week.

    This was no surprise.

It'll probably be once the winner tonight is determined. Either right after the game, or with 5 minutes left if its a blow-out.

Since the NFL/networks like the big-market cities in prime-time, my guess is if the Jets win, Jets @ Bengals will be one of the evening games, putting the Bal @ NE game as an afternoon game. If the Jets lose, New England becomes the prime AFC market.
