They've reportedly shown interest in Adarius Bowman, who's 6'2.7" and 223lbs. He's getting projected as going anywhere from the third, to the fifth round.
He started his college career out at North Carolina, but was dismissed from the team after getting cited for Marijuana possession. To shorten a long story, he wasn't actually in "possession" of Marijuana, and the case was later dropped, but he still put himself in a bad situation. Bowman initially continued on at North Carolina as simply a student, but later transfered to Oklahoma State, where he could again play for coach Gunter Brewer, who had already moved on to OSU. Adarius then proceeded to put up 127 receptions, and 2,187 yards in just two seasons at Oklahoma State.
OSU stats:
2006: 13 GP, 60 rec, 1,181 yards, 19.7 YPC, 12 TD's
2007: 11 GP, 67 rec, 1,006 yards, 15.0 YPC, 8 TD's
Coming out of HS Adarius was considered one of the best football players in the country, and was also a state track champion in the triple jump, long jump, high jump, and 4x100 relay.
He's built somewhat like Terrell Owens, in that he's big, muscular, long armed, and lean. He's also very strong, and runs well after the catch. Some other notable qualities: Good hands, hard worker, tough, decent route runner, and also an outstanding blocker. Some scouts believe he could also be a TE, or H-back.
