Not much will shock me from this draft

That could be the funny thing I have read all year, please keep that thought in mind on April 28.

"Not much will shock me...", good one.

:bricks:I should have seen this coming sooner. It's all so clear now. The Patriots will trade up to #1 to draft Darren McFadden. Here is why?

1. BB believes the game has shifted to Offense, not Defense.
2. The Tuna is just begging to give the top overall pick away.
3. The Patriots see an opportunity and they pounce on it.
4. McFadden is unquestionably the biggest impact player.
5. The quickest way to take pressure of Brady is to run well.
6. Even when he had Dillon, BB wanted to pair him up at RB.
7. Packaging picks to Miami could also land them Jason Taylor.
8. If Brady were to go down, McFadden could help carry them.
9. Brady wants to be surrounded by playmakers who can score.
10. The League loses power to bully Pats if they trade picks.

What will shock me is if the FO indeed drafts 2 LBs and 2 CBs. And that's why I voted "No."

Another reason I did is because the FO already drafted 2 LBs and 2 DBs last year...or have we forgotten Stomper Meriweather (a future CB?), Mike Richardson, Justin Rogers and Oscar Lua? Don't feel bad if you have; I've been trying to forget last year's draft ever since it ended.

Busted again...

They've reportedly shown interest in Adarius Bowman, who's 6'2.7" and 223lbs. He's getting projected as going anywhere from the third, to the fifth round.

He started his college career out at North Carolina, but was dismissed from the team after getting cited for Marijuana possession. To shorten a long story, he wasn't actually in "possession" of Marijuana, and the case was later dropped, but he still put himself in a bad situation.

NFL | A. Bowman arrested
Wed, 2 Apr 2008 14:32:33 -0700 The Associated Press reports Oklahoma State WR Adarius Bowman was arrested and charged with simple possession of marijuana. McMinn County Jail officer Cody Price said Bowman was arrested Tuesday, April 1, and was released after posting $500 bond. Bowman declined to comment and his agent, Brian Overstreet, did not immediately return a message. Bowman transferred from North Carolina after being dismissed following a citation for possession of marijuana.

Why some soon-to-be draft picks take risks, I'll never know. :(

I just read about this two minutes ago. What a complete disappointment!

The kid wasn't actually even in possession earlier in North Carolina (someone else had been smoking, and the case was dropped), he then keeps himself clean up until now....for nothing?

Why waste whatever draft stock he had one something so stupid?

I'll never understand some of these guys.
