How did "Your Love" become the 2014 theme song for the Pats. I realize that it was played at Gillette during games, but why? I dig the song, but isn't the whole thing about "cheating" on a girlfriend?

I suppose it's better than sweet Caroline. :)

I'm gonna take a stab at it and say that it's because Kraft is still living in the 80s. Looks fly in the two tone cuffs though.

you can thank scott zolak and andy gresh for that song. they play it on 98.5 from ten to two all the time. zolak brought that song up to the play by play booth with him.

Marginally better and that's from someone who thinks Sweet Caroline is hideous.

Love this song. Watching this on my own television at home gave me goosebumps and the ensuing memories of the Flacco pick are some I'll never forget. Fast forward to two weeks ago when I attended the beatdown of Irsay and Kravitz' boys and the music choices were incredible. "Jump Around", "Have You Ever Seen The Rain" and this got the stadium rocking. Love this team, love this season.

It's probably only interesting to me as a British AOR/Melodic Rock fan but The Outfield are a British band and yet you'd be hard pressed to find a single Brit, aside from myself, that has even heard of them - and I only heard about them recently. The Brits never really did the Styx, Journey, Foreigner, Toto thing.

And yes, whilst I acknowledge that as a musical genre it was pretty naff, but thirty years on, I'm still a fan.

Living in the 80s... would this get people jumping after a touchdown, or too obscure...?

The Blonde hitting the guy right at the end. :D

I think the keyword is "lose".. and the oppty for a huge sing along chorus is pretty awesome

I think it is that Brady is an older QB, and that the fans don't want his era to be over, thus don't want to lose his love

I have this song on repeat. Never forget that moment during the two time outs of the Ravens game.

Gresh and Zo use it a lot.

This just gave me goosebumps again. I think its time to crack the first beer. And with that, be right back

P.S. As for us saying the Pats are gonna win... Hate to Say I Told You So...
