Seymour has not been the same since he hurt his MCL a few years back playing fullback on the goal line.

I feel that his performance the past two seasons has been mediocre at best.

I know he started out this season hurt (as usual).
He has never been a stat guy, but 1 1/2 sacks in 12 games counting the
playoffs is a lot less than previous years.

He made the pro-bowl in 2006 on past reputation.
I believe the word on Seymour is out. He is not getting the double teams
he commanded in the past. They are now stopping him with just their LT.

People do not like to hear this, but I would be suprised to see Seymour
get another large contact when his expired after the 2009 season.

Seymour will be 29 years old next season and if his performance does
not pick up they should consider trading him after next season.

I doubt they could trade him now because of the cap hit.

This rookie status is tough !

This board is quite quiet !

This rookie board is dead !

This rookie board does not get a lot of play !

I feel like I am in time out !

I hope Belichick does not get suspended.

I hear Goodell is going to talk to Walsh.

If he has something we could lose another pick or worse, have Belichick suspended for the season.

Will we resign Asante?

Considering Hobbs is nothing special, I think we need to pony up and pay Asante.

Will Bruschi, Seau & Harrison retire?

I think Harrison will be back.

I am not sure about Bruschi & Seau.

Who should we draft with the #7 overall pick.

I know we won't do it, but I would love to trade up and draft Howie Long's kid Chris.

He would make a great linebacker.

Will Troy Brown retire?

I love Troy Brown, but I think he has played his last game for the Pats.

What are our draft needs.

I think linebacker and corner back is our biggest need.

I hope he does not go crazy if we franchise him.

There may be tickets available this season.
Kraft may pull the tickets of the people who scalp their tickets on stubhub.

I am still hurting from the loss, but we need to get back in the saddle.

Re: Will Seymour ever be 100% again?

He looked a little better later in the season.

i agree. he needs to be traded. Green has done a better job at getting to the QB and with less snaps. Trade Big Sey for CB/LB help

Re: Looking forward to getting 50 posts.

You get more cred by posting good posts than posting a lot of posts. There are yokels with more than 3000 posts who just talk in the politics forum all the time and never talk football.
