Gives us a common opponents edge over the Jets for the time being and it's definitely one of those games you see on the schedule and think 'that's one we very well may lose'. It's a huge win.
I'm not so sure about that. There were 8 rookies playing significant snaps in this game. Think they'll lose confidence next time they're down 10 in the second half against a powerful opponent?
IMO this game has the feeling of a team-defining, team-building moment -- much more so than breezing through any blowout would have.
This game will start to make people realize that this team is going to be better than anybody thought. The defense is learning and growing right in front of our eyes and the offense without Moss will be fine once everyone becomes more comfortable in their roles.
Remeber - Growing Pains are just that - Pains - but in the end those pains will make the team stronger
I do believe there is a subset of fans here that like to see the team fail so they can say "told you so". Of course, with the poll being public, I doubt they'll show themselves.
Because right now, every win is an epic win. Every point is a tooth and nail fist fight. Every yard is a knock down drag out brawl. Most any game can go either way (as the jets nearly found this out today).

Ok, but it clearly isn't a fail if they won. The only time it could be considered a fail even with winning would be vs a terrible team and throwing 5 picks and getting 20 flags.
