It's easy, and only takes a few moments. The NFL may want to see if Brady talked about the the issue to anyone else besides the two ball boys. What I want to know is, if Wells already got the two-way texts involving Brady and the two ball handlers, what else might Brady's cell phone reveal that's important to the case? I don't get why Brady's phone even is an issue.
How does the nfl know when Brady actually destroyed the phone (if he did) ?I can't imagine he would tell them the date especially if it was right after the appeal.
I hope it gets dragged into 2017, after Brady retires upon winning his fifth title.I am sure that Brady will file in Massachusetts or Minnesota and then the battle for jurisdiction will begin. Odds are good that this is going to get dragged into 2016.
So they take forever for an appeal date, take forever with the appeal decision, but then manage to make the decision and file in Manhattan within an hour of each other. Yeah, I'd say the fix is in.

Wow not good heard in New York what happened to Minnesota honestly at this point if I'm Brady I consider retiring Fuk the NFL
Well, Goodell certainly pulled out all the stops to slam Brady. See pp. 14-16. He directly analogized this to using PEDs and a masking agent to try to hide the PEDs. He also talked about why he believed it is different from the Favre thing, the Vikings/Panthers ball warming thing, and Rodgers's talk about trying to slip balls past the officials.
You can't beat the house manYou don't know Tom Brady then. He's going to fight this tooth and nail.
His cell phone carrier provied a list of all his communications, but they confirmed that they could not recover the contents of the textsOne major communication that I don't see explained. How does the NFL know he had 10,000 plus text messages? How?
Goodell:
"The conduct at issue here is also very different from the ball-warming incident in Minnesota last year, in which a Carolina Panthers ball attendant was observed warming a ball on the Vikings' sideline; there was no evidence of any intentional attempt to violate or circumvent the rules, no player involvement, and no effort to conceal the ball attendant's conduct. As Mr. Vincent testified, the ball never got into the game and the matter 'was addressed immediately.'" (emphasis Goodell's).
It is certainly beginning to feel that way, for sure.I just started another thread stating that this isn't about Brady anymore. It is a power struggle between the NFL and the NFLPA. Brady is just a pawn in all of this.

It's a conspiracy of epic proportions.
Goodell's decision claims that:
(a) On March 6, Brady destroyed the phone he'd been using from November until then.
(b) Brady claims he routinely destroys his phone when he gets a new one.
(c) However, Brady's own team submitted a forensic report of the pre-November phone that they commissioned.
(d) Therefore, the pre-November phone was not destroyed when the November phone was purchased, contra Brady's claim to routinely destroy old phones.
Jail time? seriously? Calm down 99.As much as I love Tom (favorite Patriot of all time), and as much as I've defended him tooth and nail, IF he destroyed his cell phone to hide evidence, I'm done. Im accepting that the Pats cheated. Im just gonna move on with this. It is what it is. Does he deserve 4 games for this even if he cheated, compared to the other suspensions, hell no. But he's not going to get this lowered. I don't think he goes to court, I think he just accepts it. No way he can win in court if he destroyed his cell phone. What's worse, if he goes to court, he'd be legally under oath, could actually do jail time if it's found out if he's lying in court. So he can't lie about IF he destroyed his phone and can't lie about why he did it.
As ****ty as the Wells report is, and would probably get destroyed in court, this relevation hurts his chances. I feel he just accepts his punishment like Kraft did.
