I've watched the final two drives only about 4 times so far, and one of those times focusing on Matt Light. I've thought for some time that while Light is decent and solid, he is a bit overrated and we have seen him get owned over the course of a game.

But against SD, I saw little help on doubles or even chipping in Q4, and Light got it done big time against the feared Shawn Merriman. (On a related note, has any player lost stature over that game as much as Merriman?)

I thought Light had one of his greatest games ever as a Patriot last sunday.

He will definately need another strong game sunday against the Colts.

There have been several Matt Light appreciation threads and O-Line appreciation threads.

Another one won't hurt :>
