The only thing I didn't like about Rodney is that he didn't get to play his entire career as a Patriot.

Congrats to the three of them. I was little young for the Chiefs days here but I still love him.

Rodney and Pedro though have a special place in my heart.

If I created a top ten list of my Favorite boston athletes both would easily be on it and likely in the top 5. Pedro might be the only non-Patriot on the list.

He threw Brady under the bus last year before the SB, so I will have a sour taste in my mouth for a while about his lack of loyalty in the name of "honesty".

    When/how did he do that?

And who cares anyway - he has a job to do now. He's paid good money by NBC to provide insight. Loyalty to his past employers & co-workers should not come before that obligation, that would be awfully unfair of him.

He'd have said that when he was here. He was a safety after all. Defensive players all feel that offensive players are over protected and QB's most of all. And part of the reason Brady's relationship has always worked with his teamates on both sides of the ball is he gives as good as he gets and he accepts whatever they attempt to dish in his direction in the spirit within which it's being given. Those two in particular appreciate that neither one of them is as likely to have two of their rings without the leadership and playmaking ability of the other.

I thought the title of the article was humorous:

"Harrison thinks he could play 20 years under the new rules"

Harrison could have played six games under the new rules before he would have been suspended indefinitely, if he played the way he played in his first five years.

Harrison is a paid analyst by NBC. He can't be a complete Patriots' rump swab (although most Patriots haters will say he is). He is paid to speak his mind, not to have Brady's back. If he criticized Brady and the criticism was valid (I don't know what you are talking about specifically), I have no problem with him throwing Brady under the bus.

This guy and Tom Brady are the reasons why I am a Patriots fan today.

Rodney could teach semimars on what "it" is. He both got it and has it, much like his QB and HC.

He also talks about why he probably transitioned better. He ultimately wanted out. He didn't want to live his entire life under the stress and with the anxiety inherent in players. Said his wife had predicted earlier that year he'd have to be carried off the field for him to retire, and said it hit him as he was being carried off the field that this was it, that is why he was waving. Teams did inquire, he was done.

Rodney leftovers at 'The Tradition' - New England Patriots Blog - ESPN Boston

And more from Chris Price where Rodney talks about criticizing his old team and why he does it and how he believes they are on the right track and what they need to get back to the SB.

Aside from his intensity and ability on the field, the best things about Rodney are his arrogance and confidence....

#37 taught many people the real meaning of Patriots Football...

Rodney Harrison honored by the Boston Sports Museum at The Tradition

The New England Sports Museum holds an annual event called The Tradition in which it honors past greats in local sports with a lifetime achievement award. Among those honored last week was former Pats safety Rodney Harrison....

    No Jersey Selected

This is probably rose colored glasses, but if Rodney saw the new rules and wanted to come back then I'd be ecstatic.
