Hmmm? Seems the NFL Head of Officiating believes so. Funny how PFT forgot to mention this has been proposed before by a certain HC and it got shot down. Several times. Dating back to 2008.

And even been written about by the same writer who wrote the top story.

Costs to much? For the NFL? Really? The networks decide Rich Mckay?

It could have been useful in our last game with Gronk. Personally I liked Bill's creative way to make it happen.

“The camera idea we’€™ve been talking about for years, but that’€™s never been formally discussed by the membership. … We just spent, whatever it was, how many millions of dollars on the replay system. I mean, there’€™s a thousand cameras in every stadium, so that if somebody spills a beer on somebody, we have it on record, right? Maybe we could have a bake sale. Raise some money for the cameras. Do a car wash.”

"Belichick said. "When you challenge a play, you have no way of knowing what the camera angles are. That's why I said, going all the way back to the Denver game in 2005, if we at least had a camera placed like in tennis, on the goal line, the end line, and on the sideline so you have six cameras [and] you know that [if] the play involved any one of those positions, you at least have a camera angle on it, so you know what you are challenging."

I've been saying this for years. HD cameras are "cheap". It's the 21st century. Unconscionable.
Think of this the next time Kraft et. al. bloviate about "the fan experience."

Glad at least that the higher goal posts were installed after the Ravens non-win.

Do you find it nice that the higher goal post was effective in the Broncos game? :)
I thoroughly enjoyed that clang. It's still probably reverberating through Elway's horse-choppers.:)

Goal line cameras are very important.

Hell they could probably get the cameras for free if they thank the company every challenge.

You read things like that and wonder how anyone could hate Belichick. Just goes to show the power of the media spinning their narrative because of a lack of what they feel are good quotes/hot takes.
