Winfield, Hamilton, Bates, Peppers, Holland & Bynum (MIN) have been the best safeties thus far.

Would love the Pats to sign Winfield to play FS and fill one of their few holes on defense but I’d be shocked if Tampa lets him hit UFA. They’ll likely try to sign into an extension (they have plenty of cap space in 2024) and, if not, will franchise him. Franchise number at safety is still reasonable.

If he stayed healthy & Rodgers played, he could’ve put up McCaffrey type numbers…

I first noticed YaYa during the Wasabi Bowl at Fenway last year while playing for Deion Branch’s Louisville team… Really made an impression later at the combine… I had hoped he would be available sometime during Day 3, especially if we hadn’t drafted a DE by then… Didn’t plan on him being taken in Round 3!

He was selected 15 spots ahead of us in the first round.
He is good.. but I love the guys we have.. Peppers, Dugger, mapu who I believe is going to be a starter next season.
