Lots of worthy players in that group. Latham will be long gone by 34, but could be a target if the Pats trade down. If Burton is still available at the start of the 4th round the Pats might grab him there (double dip on a WR). Good speed but below average YAC. Not sure if the incident when Tennessee fans stormed the field after beating Bama, and Burton struck a woman in the head was bad enough to cause him to drop in the draft. Had 798 yards, 8 TD and 20.5 ypc last year. Arnold and McKinstry are intriguing, but this roster needs offense so badly the corners are probably a luxury the Pats cannot afford.

Alonzo Highsmith was among those scouting players at Alabama’s Pro Day. According to the school’s website, among players who took part were defensive backs Terrion Arnold, Kool-Aid McKinstry, and Jaylen Key, defensive end Chris Braswell, receiver Jermaine Burton, offensive lineman Darrian Dalcourt, defensive lineman Justin Eboigbe, offensive tackle JC Latham, linebacker Trezmen Marshall, running back Jase McClellan, kicker Will Reichard and linebacker Dallas Turner.
