MORON ALERT

Let me get this straight. There is a gentleman who plays for the Boston Celtics named Brian Grant (never heard of him) whose player salary is higher than Tom Brady?????????

Have I been living under a rock or something?

well the contract was given to him by the Lakers who are paying for most of it. Grant is on the celts and at the same time not on the celts.

Basketball contracts are absolutely ludicrous. Brian Scalabrine, the ultimate do-nothing stiff, gets 4 million a year.

Why are there golfers on the list...I thought it was "highest paid athletes"?

Well said. I've always believed anything that a 65-year-old man can do and do well while half drunk isn't a sport. Golf falls into that category.

Golf is a sports. May not be as physical, but it's by no means a cakewalk.

i expected sports.

NFL , NBA and MLB are business and its a listing of all the highest grossing employees of these businesses.
remember the last NBA dream team got their ass handed to them by real athletes in the olympics
