I've been projecting who might make the Pats' roster next season and I'm debating whether or not Moore should be on it. While he was good in the few games he played, was it enough to suggest that he could stick around? I ask because the guy has been somewhat of a journeyman in his career and hasn't really stuck anywhere. If someone has game film on him (or has paid more attention to his game play) from the games he played with us/anywhere else, please let me know if he is worthy of spot next season. Any opinions/analysis on him would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would think this is not something that can be fully ascertained from watching last years film. IMO he will need to have a really good camp to make the team but also IMO he did enough last year where one could think that with a full camp he could be better and fit his role that much better.

Lastly I would like to think that we make enough offseason moves at LB that we can do better but who knows at this point in time.

Stunningly, I think the answer is yes. He showed up and made plays off of the bus last year. Have to think with a year in the system ( and a training camp if there ever is one ), he can contribute once he learns the defense even better.

He did more than we could've ever expected last season, he even started a few games. Give him some more time in the system and I think he'll have a great shot at making the team and maybe even being a big contributor.

I consider him one of the OLBs on the roster, even though he was basically a sub-rusher or a featherweight emergency 3-4 end. NFL.com profile

4 games, averaged 3.5 TT/game, .5 sacks/game, .5 FF/game, and added a batted pass for good measure. Production like that warrants development, this just may finally be "his" system and "his" team. Rock and Roll!

For a guy coming off the streets i was definately suprised by him and how much playing time BB gave him. I guess it's all up to him if he makes the team.

He wasn't truly "coming off the streets". He had just finished playing in the UFL.

Moore filled in admirably, but I'd like to hope that he's competing in camp for a bottom of the roster spot rather than significant playing time.

He's like any other player. If he performs in camp, he'll make the team, and his role will be based on his performance, not his name or reputation. I have to say that at this point, he looks like he has more to contribute than TBC.

I think he'll make the roster as backup and may be well suited for that role.

His contributions are across the board as you point out and speaks volume to how much intangibles he brings to the table. I think he will be a specialist DE who always gets overlooked yet manages to confound the OL game plan against our D.

I am curious to see how he does with a full training camp (assuming there's training camp). I think he could earn a nice role on this team, but it's hard to evaluate off of a handful of games.
