As a woman, I never thought this was a marketing ploy for women. It's marketed as breast cancer touches everyone, mothers, sisters, wives, daughters (and even sometimes your male relatives).
Football 101 is marketing for women. Fighting breast cancer is not. I just think they've gone too far with the gimmick and they should have a few pink things for one week and give the rest of the $$ they would have spent on pink stuff to the cause itself. On a related note, my 15 year old (when he saw what I was posting about) said he thinks the pinks stuff looks "cool." So there you go. Different opinions on a serious topic.
If people lived a healthier lifestyle...this wouldn't be such a fa king huge battle...but, we love to live life on the fringe.
