Dunlap was just 19 years old when he won the BCS Championship Defensive MVP and led the SEC in sacks last year.
This year he learned how to look up, and knocked down his first 6 passes of his career.
I'm not sure that Suh is the better prospect by any means. Suh is two years older. If Dunlap was still playing at Florida two years from now, can you imagine the stats he would put up?
I think we're talking about a boy wonder who had so much success so young that he didn't fully appreciate it. It seems like he learned a whole lot from the dwi experience, and probably faced a ton of shame at home from his military parents.
Here's his press conference and highlights from his pro-day last week:

I'm very skeptical that he will even be there at 22. He's every bit the once in a decade freak that Suh is. He could be the best player from this draft. His height, length, and strength make it extremely difficult for blockers to grab on, especially as Dunlap's technique improves with NFL coaching. Remember Julius Peppers' reputation for not leaving it all out on the field every play. It didn't stop us from wanting him on the team.
Wonder if he was popping some pills with that booze that night:
"The report said officers were unable to wake Dunlap, even with loud verbal commands - he would open his eyes, then nod off again. They were about to reach through a slightly cracked window to unlock the car, which was still in gear. The officers put the car in park and reported that Dunlap's breath smelled of alcohol, his eyes were bloodshot and he "performed field sobriety exercises with poor results."
After he was read his rights, Dunlap told officers he had been at "a gathering'' and was headed "home.''"
