We have seen this game around here for years, so lets get it in one last time. You know the drill.
CBS Sports rankings. 3 spot buffer for 1st round ranked players (if the Pats are picking 29, they can get as high as the #26 player) , 5 for 2nd & 3rd, 10 for the rest. Here are their latest:
NFL Draft - 2013 NFL Draft Prospects - CBSSports.com - NFLDraftScout.com
Trades can be made, but ones that make sense. Here is the trade value chart.
Walters Football Site: NFL Draft Value Chart
Pats picks are: 29, 59, 93, 204, 221
Enjoy!
Here's mine.
Pats trade Mallett to Cleveland for #70 and a conditional 2014 pick that can as high as a 2nd rounder.
*Trade. Pats trade 29 (640) to Jax for #33, 130 & 161 (649). Jax trades up to secure the QB they want.
#33 - Cornellius "Tank" Carradine-DE-Florida St. CBS rank: 30 Pass rushing DE to go opposite Jones. Could have been a top 20 pick if not for knee injury which seems to be healing nicely.
*Trade. Pats trade 59 & 70 (550) to Wash for 51 & 87 (545)
#51 - Keenen Allen-WR-California. CBS rank: 47. He's falling fast due to a knee injury and a slow 40 time. Once considered the top WR in the draft, he is a steal at 51
#87 - Kiko Alonso-ILB-Oregon. CBS rank: 86 Athletic LB who can play both inside and out and can cover. Just what the Pats need.
*Trade - Pats trade 93 (128) to Oak for 99 & 164 (129.8)
#99 - Da'Rick Rodgers-WR-Tenn. Tech. CBS rank: 95. Big WR who is not afraid to go over the middle and fight for the ball.
*Trade - Pats trade 130 and 161 (69) to Stl for 112 (70)
#112 - TJ McDonald-FS-USC. CBS rank: 112 Big, tall, athletic FS who is good against the run and a big hitter. Good bloodlines
#164 - Will Davis-CB-Utah St. CBS rank: 157. Raw, but loads of talent.
#204 - Ryan Griffin-QB-Tulane. CBS rank: 208
#221 - Eric Herman-OG-Ohio. CBS rank : 212
