Jack - would love to hear your views on what most Jets fans think about the Giants and Jets in the SB (you are not "most" Jets fans I understand, but you probably have a better perspective than me)
Obviously seeing the hated rival Patriots in the Super Bowl this season with everything that's gone on re: Spygate has to be a bitter pill for many fans...
Is there a bit of a Jets/Giants rivalry as well with each team competing for the affections of New Jersey? As such, are Jets fans feeling pretty jilted being one upped not only by the Patriots but by the Giants?
Thanks for your non-trollish perspectives as always.
Patchick caught me on this one already, Joe. I get such a warm feeling that my Patriotic friends worry about my mental health - which was tenuous even before this football season.

As I said on my home Jets board earlier today, I was more ambivalent about this game for a good stretch. But then, that old, whiney, cheating, pointy-nose coach Shula and his minions went on their campaign for the greatness of 1972, and continue to try laying claim to the title of Greatest Team Of All Time. If I see or hear from that odious loiudmouth Mercury Morris one more time. . . .
At least if the Patriots knock that bunch of old, disgruntled, former players and their full-of-himself coach, I won't have to see or hear them ever again. Nor will I have to deal with a new batch of old, disgruntled, former players, and THEIR full-of-himself coach for another 20 years or so. It's not a great trade-off, but it's the best of a bad lot, and that's where I'm at with this.
In the end, I don't take it as seriously as a lot of fans. It's football. Games. Entertainment. Rivalry. And, best of all, there's always a next year.
If I forget to say this between now and Sunday, which is very possible - to all my friends here at Patsfans.com, enjoy the game and good luck to your team.
