Did TB talk about why he took the knee to end the first half?

I was - and still am - very surprised that TB had 55 seconds on clock, three time outs, playing inside a dome, but still took the knee to end of the first half instead of trying to see if could get to a FG range.

Did he address it in any of the post-game PC?

If no, any thoughts?

My 2 cents: he was rattled by his previous awful throw that gifted the Colts a TD, and so instead of trying to rush things, decided to calm down and duke it out once we receive the ball in the second half.

Thanks!

Yea he did. They asked him if it was sort of BB punishing him and he said 'yea, I think so we knew that was a momentum play and we knew we'd get the ball in the second half.' something along those lines

It was the right thing to do, the Colts were super pumped, we were nervous and doing stupid mistakes, settle down, go to the locker room, drink gatorade, get straight and go for the 2nd half.

Punishment makes sense, I chalked it up to...........

1.) Field position, if I recall Amendola didn't set them up with great field position (ball inside the 20).

2.) Passing game - this was an obvious pass situation and to this point the damage our offense was doing was mostly in the running game (sounds weird saying that). After two picks probably didn't want to risk any further damage.
