Defense? What defense!!!

The season could be 5 years and the defense will not get any better. Too many plays over 20 yds, McCourty is morphin into a turnstile, Spikes cannot defend the pass and Brady is throwing too many ill timed passes. This defense is turning out to be worse than last years, 31st in pass defense. They have to score 40 points to have a chance of winning. I should have gone striper fishing this was a total waste of a Sunday. At least they're not the Red Sox..................YET!

If only we drafted Clay and Dunlap...

nah..don't need em. They will never understand our "complex" Defense, you know the one getting toasted in 3 weeks by Chad Henne, Rivers, and Fitzpatrick for avg. of 375+ yards passing.

This game is on Brady

The game is on the team. The offense turned it over 4 times - there is no excuse for that. The defense allowed a 95 and a 96 yd TD drive - there is no excuse for that.

Looking at green bay defense and studs like Raji, matthews etc

why did BB let dom capers go just after 1 season, that one is a head scratcher. We don't have a concept of ferocious defense after Romeo left

Though today is not D that stink up the joint,

this pass happy OCs are killing us.

Even though Brady threw four picks he still put the team in position to win at the end of the game. It fell on the defense when they proceeded to let Buffalo march down the field for an easy FG that probably would of been a TD if they weren't burning clock. We have no pass rush, no real play makers in the front seven besides Wilfork, and a worse secondary than last yearn Belichick is looking like a dumb ass for cutting Sanders and Meriweather.

2 of those picks were the result of receiver error (Woodhead and Ocho), if they do their job those balls don't get picked. The INT to Gronk needed a bit more air on it but I also wonder if the safety would have been covering so well if we actually had a running threat he had to respect.

This is defense!

Or they don't fit physical specifications that are required in our defense!

The best excuse is that "they don't play the run well".

Or they don't fit the scheme.

Dom Capers clearly did not get the concept that pass rush is unnecessary.

You act like Rivers, a top 5 QB, is some kind of mediocre one and you expect to be taken seriously?

The int on the Woodhead pass was not his fault. Brady threw it too far behind him and tried to throw the ball so it carried Woodhead into the endzone..

The Pats have a running threat. The problem is that BOB / Brady refused to use them consistently...

We can test our run defense next week.

we better hope Big Al shows up next week. McD ran all over jets today, which definitely h as a better D than us
