Sad to say but it seems he isn't it. His KR's haven't been as excelllent as they were earlier this season.
Sometimes KR's are about being in the right place at the right time. Devin Hester when on a big drought after tearing it up in prior years. But he is still an excellent KR. Same with Tate, everytime he makes the first guy miss and turns it upfield, He has the potential to go to the house. If he wasn't that good, Cleveland wouldn't of been kicking the ball to our 20 yardline evertime. (Suprised more teams haven't done that to us, based on Clevelands success.)Sad to say but it seems he isn't it. His KR's haven't been as excelllent as they were earlier this season.

Watching him, its like hes fast, but not quick. It seems to take him a ton of time to get the ball out to the 20.
That return to the 35, he had a big crease, and it looked like he was gonna chew up a ton of field, and then at the end of the play he was only at the 35.
Seems that Tate made some big plays against Pittsburgh and Minnesota.
Or now that Moss is gone, are we back to moaning about needing a "#1" receiver because we spent the past few years moaning about finding the open guy because we had a "#1" receiver in Moss?
I didn't really expect to see that much of Tate yesterday based on the matchups. Similarly I didn't really expect to see that much of Hernandez against Pittsburgh. The Colts corners cover mid to deep routes a lot better than the Steelers do. I would expect more throws Tate's way Thursday in Detroit.
Do you think after a game like yesterday BB just ignores everything that went wrong, or every player who isn't progressing like they want them too?Yeah, Tate is for sure one of the reasons we lost yesterday. A disgusting, gutless performance by him. By the whole offense, really. Incomplete passes, RB's only getting 5 yards a carry. It's ineptitude at it's finest.
...wait, we WON yesterday?
Our #3, #4 and #5 and #6 wider receivers are Tate, Edelman, Price and Slater. What is their TOTAL number catches, yards and TD's? Please list ALL their signifcant plays on offense. It won't take long.
It is OK, but let's be real. We are getting little production on offense from any of these folks. I am fine with the production coming from Grankowski and Hernadez instead (and from a healthy Welker and Branch).
