Rishard Matthews and Percy Harvin would be a good addition.
Josh Gordon and or Calvin Johnson and Brady is gunning for every record.
I would also talk to the Rams regarding Tavon Austin just to see if there is anyway to move him for a low cost.
Harvin might be good add on a one year prove it deal. Gordon or Megatron would be the dream obviously.

Tavon Austin actually might be pretty awesome here but would he be an X receiver? And I don't know if the Rams are inclined to part with him for cheap, though I feel like he hasn't been a big part of their offense lately.

Honest to god Josh Gordon just seems like the perfect Bill Belichick move. It seems too perfect not to happen. Seriously, how prototypical is this? Elite-level relatively young player on bottom-of-the-barrel organization has had too many issues and needs a fresh start but is one mistake away from possibly being out of football.

It's freakin' Randy Moss 2: Electric Boogaloo.

I think Calvin would be more likely than Gordon. I never really thought CJ was likely but tentatively getting a little more excited about it now.

CJ wants to retire. Why would he want to play anywhere?

Austin is a gimmick player who you need to design plays for and would be pretty horrible here and is still in St. Louis for cheap for at least one more year. He's a lot bigger part of an offense without a credible QB than he ever would be here.

Could easily be posturing to gtfo of the cess pool that is Detroit.

It's not. He's explicitly said as much. There's no Randy Moss coming down the pike. Josh Gordon will be in Cleveland next year and Calvin Johnson will be on his sofa.

Pats clearly have a need at outside receiver now. Gets me excited, but I'm sure we'll be disappointed At who we end up with (although probably satisfied Come next December or so)

Is Kearse a slot guy or outside guy? I think he's a baller.

You seem content to post some variation of these thoughts on every page of this thread.

Harvin is a no in every way. He's lazy, injury prone, stupid, runs bad routes, is a lousy teammate, and is overrated as a player.

Tavon Austin is not going to be moved on the cheap, he's their second best skill guy and is their punt returner too.

Matthews will likely get overpaid but I'd kick the tires. Gordon I'd be ecstatic, and i'd be cool with Mega also, salary being a factor.

In general, the trades one makes Madden are not realistically available in real life.

Bill needs to have a Ground Round moment with the following FAs, in order, and spend a little more
than he's used to paying for them:

LG/LT/RG/RT Kelechi Osemele

WR Marvin Jones

TE Coby Fleener

Then use his top picks on LT/RT, RB, LG, WR, LB, CB.

Not surprised to see SC go, just didn't work out for whatever reasons. JoJo had a great first year in NE and helped us win a SB, best of luck to him.

sanders would of been a dream. cheap contract as well...

I'm not sure that a 74-year-old Socialist is the answer for the Patriots. But, Sanders has a great motor and loves to play with his hand in the dirt. Defenses can pretty much take him away as a weapon since he only goes left.

The guy I want is Jermaine Kearse. He's been improving every year with the Seahawks and would fit in nicely here with his quick feet and route running.

He wouldn't make it here. He expects rich people to pay his salary without him having to do anything to earn it.

Injuries appear to be the great equalizer in the NFL.. LaFell was great as a #4 option when covered by #4 CB, however sucked when he was the #1 option covered by a #1 CB.. his injury did not help. Scott Chandler had knee issues..

I am somewhat concerned about our wr situation. Learning the playbook isnt as hard as gaining Brady's trust which at times seems impossible. Look how long it took Amendola(? future) and he seemed to have a firm grasp of the offense from day 1. 1 injury and we're back to 06/13(entertaining overachievers who run out of luck in the afccg).

I really hope we have a running game this year to lean on and maybe james white will stop playing 2hand touch lol
