    Again......I Think the Pats have to do everything outside of grossly overpaying to keep this guy. He basically erased half of the field yesterday as they went after Hobbs all day. Hobbs was beat on some plays, but he also made some key plays. Anyway Asante has really raised his game this year and he continued to do so in clutch spots.That break up on the 3rd and 4 was huge!

    Agree. The Pats should treat Asante as a "special" situation like Brady / Seymour, and pay him well.

    he's going to have his hands full next week... Who will he cover? Wayne or Harrison? Both are " # 1" receivers...

    I think Asanti likes it here, and I think the Pats will make a offer... I just hope it works out in the end... I saw somewhere that there have been talks between his agent and the team...

    Wait until next week against Indy. If he can shut down Wayne or Harrison, then he is a keeper.
