We're contenders for the fact that the AFC is so weak right now and nobody is a sure thing. Winning or losing this game doesn't really change my mind or impact my opinion as what it was going into this game.
You can all but rule out this team from winning a title this year, or until BB swallows his pride and gets some help. This team needs a legit OC and some help in personnel evaluation. If you honestly think putting Sergio Brown, Josh Barrett, and Antwan Molden into significant roles and James Ihedibo (though he's been OK) into a starter role is what's best for this team, you are clearly losing your mind. If Sanders, Bodden, Butler and Wilhite were really THAT bad it can't be that hard to upgrade them. But right now we have a backfield full of monstrous holes. This is after investing 6 1st/2nd rounders in the last 5 drafts on DB and awarding a 5 year, $22M contract to another DB.
Everybody made a big deal about the last two years being a 'rebuilding' process if anything it's been a destruction of whatever they started to build.
