If so, what are you doing here? Backing away from the wiseass remark, boards like this, to me, provide an alternative to everyday nuances. So, it looks like the issues we talk about are life and death, and sleep deprivers. Personally, my first wish was to get Moss back onboard, but maybe the Patriots are concerned about issues with him with age, attitude, disappearing acts, etc. OTOH, we need somebody to play WR!Not losing sleep over Moss. I have actual important issues in my life that affect my sleep. Whether or not someone feels insulted to only be offered 30 million dollars to play a game my friends and I would play for a lot less--with half of it guaranteed money--that doesn't bother my sleep.

Yesterday, Moss's agent, Tim DiPiero, responded to an e-mail, writing, "I have no comments on or off the record until whatever happens happens."
Read this...
Translation: "The Pats have been adamant about keeping this quite, and Moss really wants to be a Pat, and in order to noegotiate with the team, we can not say ANYTHING, at all..."
Once he starts talking, then you know they are talking and looking to sign somewhere else.
nope my 6 month old is taking care of it...lol
I would like to see the Pats sign him but does it bother anyone at all the way teams were able to control Moss at the end of the season and in the playoffs? But still I'd like him on the team.

Personally, the only thing I am worried about the longer we wait, the more marginal WRs get big contracts. The going rate for a WR has gone up in the last two days with marginal primary WRs like Jerry Porter, Donte Stallworth, and Bernard Berrian all getting $10 million or more in guarantees.
Losing sleep over the Randy Moss deal? Uggh. Must sleep... Zzz
For more years. There's a big difference in 10 mill guaranteed over 6 years, and the 13 reported for Moss over 3.
By taking half of your contract up front, you become very hard to cut.
With the others, that's only a 1 to 2 million bonus hit n the cap per year. They can easily be cut down the road.
