    Here’s a partial transcript of Adalius Thomas’ postgame Q-and-A with the media after tonight’s game:On playing a close game…It’s a win. They played a very good game. You have to tip your hats to those guys. They played good, but we ended up making more plays at the end. We’re happy to get the win. What [...]

    Did they ask him why he could bring tackle Westbrook in the first half? What the hell are we paying that guy for?

    Sorry, he hasn't impressed me thus far.

    Thomas wasn't the problem. Westbrook didn't make any big plays. Jay Feeley killed us.

    On the contrary, there was one play late in the game (end of the 3rd I believe) where Westbrook caught a swing pass and looked like he had everyone beat, but AD caught him from behind and pulled him down (almost a horse collar). As the play I was developing, I didn't realize it was him and figured Westbrook was gone.

    Yeah, if only he had put some pressure on Feeley, maybe we could have gotten an interception returned for a touchdown.

    Westbrook = 3.1 ypc...Why couldn't we stop him?
    Maroney = 3.1 ypc...Why do we pay him?

    I have tonite's game on tape. You know where I can get a tape of the game you watched?

    Well, I don't have DVR but tell me how many times AD got beat...

    It seemed like a lot to this observer.

    You are prepared to lay blame on AD? There were so many bad performances on defense tonight, AD shouldn't be mentioned as one of them. He caused pressure on the INT return by Samuel. And Westbrook wasn't a huge factor in the game by any means.

    AD should be because when he was lined up outside he got little to no pressure on the QB and when he tackled Westbrook it was down the field.

    Again, other than that INT for a TD I can't remember a big play that the dude has made on D...

    I thought he was supposed to be the guy to replace Teddy or Seau in the middle. Not so much right now...

    You didn't see his two and a half sacks last week? The way he has been used is going to limit the # of sacks he gets. And in all fairness there wasn't much pressure by anyone.

    Yeah, I also saw him sit out against the Colts too. AD should have been on Clark but they put old Harrison on him. Yeah, it worked but I thought they brought AD in for a LB who can drop into coverage....

    Disable Jersey

    So you are blaiming him for a decision Belichick made?

    You thought wrong.
