Here's a little poll, just for fun I guess, to see what we think is next for Roosevelt Colvin.

Here's a little poll, just for fun I guess, to see what we think is next for Roosevelt Colvin.

Kicking back at home, on BB's speed dial.

Based on what I heard during the season, he does not seem to have the heart and desire any more..

If he wants to play and is in shape he makes the team by default unless we draft or acquire 2-3 talented LBs.

rosey was barely healthy early in 2008. wehn he was clled on by the Patriots he was hardly in shape.

With a full camp and some exercise to get in shape, it will be interesting to really see what Rosey has left. Before his inuries he was a feared passrushing OLB, and could be onece again. He isn't really that old, and proved that he could still play on pure memory in late 2008. He can't be any worse than very good depth.:)
..

I think if he wants to play somewhere, someone will give him a shot to try. This season showed he is physically capable still (something that was seriously in question when the Texans cut him). As long as he wants to try, someone will have him in camp.

He was starting last year, and could very well start this coming year if he worked hard enough for it. I would bring him into camp on that premise.

Hopefully he'll be called into camp to compete for a place. He's still got a good two years or so left in him if he wants it and a fully healthy Colvin is a dangerous guy at OLB.

Depending on salary he'd be very handy to have around but you really don't know what the deal is with him. Some people have question his mind set whilst others are on his health. I guess we'll just have to wait and see...

Its time to move on glad he got to play again this year.. I think we finally moved on with the Seau's and Colvins of the world, after this year we will move on from the Bruschi, Vrabels and Harrisons... need more youth, mayo was great we will be greater..

IMO Colvin was an emergency call and only used to try and fill some depth for what BB thought could be a playoff push - Thats all it was to me

Colvin is watching football games at home with his family this fall if you ask me

Colvin had already moved on to life after football with his UPS pack-n-ship store. He was brought in due to emergency; he's moved on to his next career. I doubt he'll play again.

Colvin was an emergency signing due to the rash of injuries to the LB group. I think he's already back to his day job, whatever he was doing when the Patriots came calling. I doubt he's going to sign with another team, since he wasn't even capable of securing a roster spot with Houston last season.

Retirement and a talking head gig in addition to his UPS stores.

I would like to see him compete for a back up position with us next year in camp. I was disappointed when he was released at the beginning of this season and was very happy to see him back. I think it would be solid insurance for us
