There is one thing to say to that....

Seriously though..I do think Asante is definitely Hall Of Fame worthy

.......that is if he has the money to pay admission to the exhibit in Canton...then of course he is worthy of seeing the true great cornerbacks of all time like all spectators do every day

Curran is correct in pointing out how small Samuel came up in the SB. Hall of Famer's don't play scared in the playoffs - they shine - like Ty Law did. And Law is someone who deserves the hall a hell of a lot more than Samuel does.

Congratulations to Asante Samuel for getting inducted into the self-proclaimed hall of fame! A monumental achievement. Good job, good effort

Even if he makes that pick I still don't think he did enough to get in.

I see him going in with the class that includes Rex Ryan and Freddie Mitchell.

Nothing wrong with a probowl player thinking they're one of the best.

But I do disagree -- I think he needed to be a bit better to get to the hall.

Hmmm...He need to start making Hall of Fame type plays in the SB to get there ...... That's all I will say!

I think Assante had potential HoF talent (well with the exception of tackling).

BUT, he chose to "GET PAID" instead. I'm sincerely happy his family will be well taken care of.

    'nuff said?

Mitchell gets in on comic genius.

Rex gets in on ability to destroy a team's character.

He's got some pretty good numbers, but I don't see him getting into the HOF without a ticket.

Well, the Humblebrag is a type of Hall of Fame. Even then, he needs to work on the humble part of it.

I am not even sure his teammate Asomugha is a lock and Nhamdi is tons better than Asante

I hope, for the sake of his mental health, that he was just joking with the hall of fame guy.

HoF CBs don't tell some scrub ST WR run free without contention.

    I will always hate him.
