2012 NFL Draft Binkies

Jerel Worthy.

Watched some video of him against good competition, and couldn't believe how many times he demanded a double team and how explosive his first step was. Line him up next to Big Vince, and watch them dominate.

Nothing's changed since the last binky thread.

Shea McClellin
Marvin Jones
Jarius Wright.

Those 3 guys outside of the first round are lethal contributors to this team for years to come.
Future LB, 2nd wr and slot wr and you didn't even have to touch your first round pick to get them. The rest is gravy. I feel very good about those 3 players.

I'd like to add Northwestern WR Jeremy Ebert to my list. Kid can flat out play football.

I've also done a 180 on Doug Martin and think he would mix in well with Vereen and Ridley. Although not a need imo.

Haven't narrowed it down to one:

Michael Floyd
Mark Barron
Too many OLBs who we probably won't pick anyway

I've done some further research and would like to change mine totally.
Dre Kirkpatrick CB/S Alabama
Jonathan Martin OT Stanford
and
OLBs who we as usual have no chance of picking:
Whitney Mercilus / Andre Branch / Shea McClellin - I like Branch the best. He seems to be the one of the 3 who is best in coverage.

Fletcher Cox was my original binky in this draft but he moved from late first to high first and is out of reach. Keuchly has always been out of reach unless something really strange happens so I don't really count him. Hightower and Lavonte David are my binkies as draft day approaches, I think both will be exceptional pro's.

The only two I can think of off the top of my head right now are Kendall Reyes and Vinny Curry.

Okay,
Sadly McLellin has rocketed up to a point where he may be gone before 27 and that sucks!
Others:
Kendall Reyes, DE/DT
Audie Cole, OLB/ILB
Devon Whylie, WR
Danny Coale, WR
Casey Hayward, CB
Chris Greenwood, CB
Trumaine Johnson, as a safety for me!

that is a lot, I know, leave me alone.

Liked Brockers, but he'll go too high. My realistic binkies are WR Joe Adams, DT Mike Martin, and CB Janoris Jenkins.

Binkies like you. That's nothing to be ashamed of. :)

Hard to figure how a 310 ld DT fits as a binky:
Josh Chapman DT Alabama

Dale Moss WR South Dakota

Dont'a Hightower
Jared Crick

Compared to past years (Barwin, Watt, Aldon Smith), I'm relatively binkiless. The biggest would have to be Brockers, but outside of him there's not really anybody that I consider a "must-pick" for the Pats.

Stephen Hill
Lavonte David
Bruce Irvin
Kellen Moore
Patrick Edwards (I don't understand how he's projected undrafted)
