Huge development for this kid from his days as a freshman. He plays in a non-traditional offense, kind of like Urban's offense only this one is on LSD.

Decent sized kid, 6'2" plus. Appears to be a leader by example rather than a leader by mouth. He creates oodles of opprtunities with his mobility, but has a decent enough arm to stand in the pocket and fire it in there when given the opportunity to. While not nearly as fast as Vick, he is however fast enough to keep pressure on the defense either by passing or running.
Improvement needed in reading defenses from the pocket.

Bottom line: While he'll need a good deal of time and seasoning, I like this kid as a #3 type QB for the Pats. The mobility gives us a dimension we do not currently possess.

    :wha:

OK. I'll bite. . . . What exactly does "an Urban Meyer offense on LSD" look like?

Urban's offense on LSD looks like the Houston offense.

Watch the Houston offense for a half and try to figure out why they run the weird plays that they run. It looks like Florida's offense, but they do weird things that make you scratch your head.

By the second half, your either relaxed, watching the pretty colors and just going with the flow, or your out of your mind frustrated by the wierd plays.
